What happens if you drink alkhogol while using antibiotics?!

Question: What happens if you drink alkhogol while using antibiotics.?
Answers:
The docs will always tell you not to do this, because it will stop your body absorbing and processing the antibiotics properly if you drink alcohol whilst taking a course of them. So your illness may not be treated properly if you drink. Some will also say that it may possibly increase the chances and severity of side effects from the antibiotics, and this varies from person to person, so even if your mate happened to take the exact same drug for the same problem, drank alcohol, and was fine, it doesn't mean you're guaranteed to be the same.
So the question is, are you prepared to take the risk of having side effects on top of a hangover AND still be ill - possibly worse than you were before.? And have your doctor giving you lectures when you have to return to ask for more treatment.?!
Seems to be a small price to pay for your health, a week without alcohol. Yeah, it sucks at Christmas, but look on the bright side - you'll be sober enough to remember what fools your family and friends make of themselves, offering you some unique post-Christmas blackmail opportunities!!! ;)Health Question & Answer

Alcohol neutralizes the effect of antibiotics. The main problem with this is that in effect, you're not getting the antibiotics that you need AND you're damaging your body with alcohol which will almost certainly perpetuate the problem that requires antibiotics.

It's not going to kill you (it could in the case of MRSA or something serious like that), but it could cause the infection you're treating to build a resistance to antibiotics and you could wind up very ill.Health Question & Answer

It lowers the potency of the antibiotics to fight the infection. It can also lead to a yeast infection

most antibiotics are only 3-10 days, just wait it outHealth Question & Answer
