How do I get the mucus to stop dripping down my throat?!

Question: How do I get the mucus to stop dripping down my throat.?
I already suffer from daily nausea, but now I constantly have mucus flowing down my throat which is making me throw up a lot every day. I tried the Muccinex pills, but all that did was stuff up my nose. Is there anything else that would help.? I am tired of throwing up! (And no I am not pregnant)Health Question & Answer

I use a nose spray that I bought at walmart. It's a little exspensive so I bought the off brand. But it works really well!! I know I hated having that stuff go down my throat too.Health Question & Answer

Chlorphenamine (Piriton) works very well but in most cases will make you sleepy so only realy good at night. for daytime use i would suggest Loratadine (Claritin) or Acravastin (Benadryl) both are non drowsey and should dry that up. though if you are on any medication for the nausea just chack the with your pharmacist firstHealth Question & Answer

OMG I just had that and I'm almost over it. Here's something that helped tremendously...sitting up. If you like down it makes you feel awful (cause the mucus drips into ur throat.)
Since ur throwing up here are some foods that are easy to hold down: Mash potatoes, Mac and cheese, toast, apple sauce, rice, yogurt, rice pudding, bananas...
