I've had diahrea, been throwing up, cold sweats, hot flashes, and dizzy?!

Question: I've had diahrea, been throwing up, cold sweats, hot flashes, and dizzy.?
Last night at about 2am i woke up and couldnt sleep. I then proceeded to throw up twice within about 5 mins. After that i was up practically the whole night with all the symptoms + a stomach ache. Its 9am now and i threw up again a few minutes ago and it was pretty much 99% bile.
Is this the stomach virus.? Any clue how long it lasts.?Health Question & Answer

Definitely sounds like a stomach bug - there's one going around in my area, and it seems to last for 24-48 hours. Just try to keep down some fluids (if water doesn't stay down, try Sprite or Gatorade/Powerade) so you don't get dehydrated. If the symptoms continue or get worse, seek medical attention.Health Question & Answer

It looks like you have a sickness that makes you sick. You caught it from somebody that was sick and that made you sick so now you are sick but you wont be sick soon if you rest and drink and then when you wont be sick you wont feel sick until the next time you get sick, in which case ,you caught it from somebody that was sick and that made you sick so now you are sick but you wont be sick soon if you rest and drink and then when you wont be sick you wont feel sick until the next time you get sick, in which case, you caught it from somebody that was sick and that made you sick so now you are sick but you wont be sick soon if you rest and drink and then when you wont be sick you wont feel sick until the next time you get sick, in which caseyou caught it from somebody that was sick and that made you sick so now you are sick but you wont be sick soon if you rest and drink and then when you wont be sick you wont feel sick until the next time you get sick, in which case you are sick.Health Question & Answer

sounds like a stomach bug. try to keep drinking plenty, even if you only have a little sip at a time. eat if you can but don't force yourself. if you go to the doctor at this point they won't be able to do anything, if it is a virus, and you might give it to other people. just stay in bed and look after yourself.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you have it to me. I could last 24 hours or it could turn in to a full blown FLU and that could last 7 to 10 days. Do you have candy canes on your tree. Put a little piece in a cut of hot water and slowly drink it, this will help settle your stomach down.Health Question & Answer

This will be viral gastroenteritis. It can run for a week- but the symptoms will decrease over time.

Drink electrolyte replacement fluids and keep your diet very bland. Try dried apricots and raisins to replenish potassium levels, and you will make it.Health Question & Answer
