Hey there,
First of all, Enamel is the hardest substance in our body (even stronger than bone) and you probably know that.
Enamel consists of 96%inorganic part and 4% organic part and water
Inorganic part is mainly composed of the hydroxypatite crystals in the form of calcium phosphate.
The Organic part consists of a group of proteins called as amelogenins(or enamelins) and a few other free ions such as Fluorine,Strontium etc
Now, for your experiement , i would suggest this.
:Go to a dental hospital closest to you
:Explain that you are a student and request them for an extracted tooth. Most dental clinics and hospital commonly give it to students.
: You can do your studies on that extracted tooth.
Common studies include.
:Effect of coke on enamel
:Effect of acid on enamel etc..
Hopefully i was helpful to you and you can surf my website for more on dental health and contact me in case of further queries
