What is a good age to get your wisdom teeth removed?!
Question: What is a good age to get your wisdom teeth removed.?
Answers:
The younger the better (17 - 25 years old is best). Bone is more elastic the younger you are, which usually means a less difficult extraction (and you heal faster the younger you are). Of course this all depends on the orientation of the wizzies. Often times, removing wisdom teeth requires a surgical procedure which will leave you with some post-op pain for a few days regardless of your age. We usually like to wait until the roots of the wisdom teeth are at least 2/3 formed.Health Question & Answer
