Is it best to use Dental floss first, and then brush your teeth afterwards?!

Question: Is it best to use Dental floss first, and then brush your teeth afterwards.?
I usually brush my teeth first, use dental floss throughout my teeth twice, and then brush my teeth again. Because I notice my breath still has some unpleasant smell after flossing. Is this normal.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Well my dentist tells me to first brush my teeth for about 2 mins.
then after i finish to take a long strip of floss and floss after! in and out on every tooth!
And it is okay for u to have an unpleasant smell because its food stuck in the middle of ur teeth which u cant take out with a toothbrush.
so that foods been there for like days, weeks, maybe even years! Who knows! lol!

So its fine!
and im going t0 my dentist today! :)
I'll ask!Health Question & Answer

You should floss first, brush second, according to what I've read (I think Men's Health magazine was the source). That way, the stuff stuck in your teeth won't get re-stuck. But if you still have breath issues, consider getting a tongue scraper. Those work great for reducing unpleasant film and smells. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

You should floss first. I think it's because when you brush first, you're rubbing rotten pieces of food into your teeth (floss removes these bits).
