If I have to get a new invisalign retainer after my old one broke, will I have to get braces again?!
Question: If I have to get a new invisalign retainer after my old one broke, will I have to get braces again.?
My invisalign retainer was in my bag and someone accidentally stepped on it. It now has a big chip in it, and a few cracks. I can still use it, but it doesn't work so well and refuses to fix the gap in my front teeth since it doesn't really mold to my mouth anymore. I can get another one free, but since my teeth are slightly crooked now after realigning themselves, will I have to get braces again for a short time so that they can make a new mold.? Or do they keep the old mold.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
That decision will be up to you. If your teeth shifted a bit and it does not bug you then they will take a new impression to make your new retainer. If they shifted and you no longer like your teeth you will need several new aligners. ther will problably be some fees involved here.
