Does Getting A Baby Tooth Pulled Hurt?!
Question: Does Getting A Baby Tooth Pulled Hurt.?
I have to get a baby tooth pulled soon, and to be honest, I'm a little nervous. It's not the shot part, but the actual "pulling" part. Does it hurt.?Health Question & Answer

What my dentist does is this:
He takes some numbing gel and swabs it on. He lets me sit for a while and then gives me a shot in the gum. It might sting just a little, but you really shouldn't feel as thing. Then he lets that sit for a little and gets some pliar-like thingies. This part actually doesn't hurt at all. The numbing protects everything, and the only hard part is the shot. When you get home, it will hurt a little, just put some ice on it and don't eat or drink anything for about an hour. I actually cried the first time, but because I was scared out of my wits. You should be completely numb, so if the shot doesn't bother you then nothing should. You'll be fine. Baby teeth are pretty easily to take out.Health Question & Answer
No, even having an adult tooth pulled does not hurt as long as it has been properly anesthetized.

If you're having it done at the dentist, it'll be no big deal. I just pulled my daughter's out last week myself and it didn't hurt.Health Question & Answer
