About ten days ago I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I had all the classic after affects including swelling, pain, and slight bleeding. Then the pain got worse, almost to the point of unbearable, and I went back to the Doc, who said I had an infection. He's been treating this with 500mg's of Penicilln, and it seems to help...however thats not my problem. As I am beginning to regain movement of my jaw (the ability to close my mouth) I find that the teeth at the back, left hand side of my mouth do not line up correctly, and are grinding together severly (they are off-set both from the side andfront to back). This really hurts and worries me, but I cant get any answers from the doc...is this normal.? dose anyone know anything.? PLEASE help! Health Question & Answer

I would insist on a follow-up with this dentist and if he/she still doesn't help you, I would ask him/her for a referral to another dentist or orthodontist.
