What options other than stainless steel crown is available for an 8 year old's tooth?!

Question: What options other than stainless steel crown is available for an 8 year old's tooth.?
Answers:
You didn't state which tooth needs the crown. I assume it is a back tooth. Is it permanent.? Stainless Steel Crown (SSC) is probably best for a back molar tooth on an eight year old. It will last longer. If it is a deciduous (baby) tooth then either SSC or some bonding might work. SSC though is the best for most situations in a young child. It is too early to do any permanent work.
I don't think anyone does SSC's on front teeth any more.Health Question & Answer

None that I am aware of. Since it will be temporary, it is much less expensive to use stainless steel and is much more durable.Health Question & Answer
