They are a lil bit weaker and shorter than a primary tooth. Its stronger than a tooth that has a succedaneous tooth b/c its doesnt have a tooth pushing it. You will have this tooth many years as long as you take care of it. I have seen them build up every nice before.Health Question & Answer

Short answer is yes. But you need to be aware of a few things.
Baby teeth are much shorter and weeker teeth. So the long term prognosis is poor.

The good news is that I have seen baby teeth last well into the late forties early fifties. We are all different.

See a good dentist that you are comfortable with. If they can build the tooth up with bonding material, it will still be a little pricey. Maybe $300 here in Texas.Health Question & Answer

I'm 20 years old and still have a baby tooth, but I have a tooth behind it. I chose not to have braces. I would just leave it alone and deal w/problems as they come. My dentist told me that he saw a woman in her 60's who still had her baby tooth. If it falls out, u can get an implant, but they r expensive.Health Question & Answer

Call around to see if any dentist offices can give you a free consultation if you do not have insurance. If you do -- you should see a dentist! They would need to see the tooth most likely... They usually fill the tooth...Health Question & Answer
