People who have temperature sensitive teeth opt to go for the one that won't give them a shock.

I usually go with what ever comes out of the tap, as long as it's not too cold/not too hot.
I only feel the temperature of the water when I rinse my mouth out.
In my opinion (out of common knowledge): a lot of people are very sensitive to cold water (me being one of them) and it causes a shock (not an actual electric shock) when very cold things touch their teeth or gums.
