Why do I keep feeling light pressure and cracking in my TMJ?!
Question: Why do I keep feeling light pressure and cracking in my TMJ.?
If I open my mouth too much I will sometimes crack/pop my jaw. Not to mention in the morning I feel pressure in my TMJ. Could this be TMD.? What can I do to ease the symptoms.?Health Question & Answer

The symptoms in the morning indicates that most likely you grind and / or clench your teeth in sleep.
That is a very common reason for having TMD.

* also, you can get a muscle relaxant prescribed by your dentist or PCP.
If not, taking Advil / Ibuprofen / Motrin 800mg (ONLY with a decent meal) should help too.
** On top of that, you should avoid opening your jaw too wide on a regular basis because you already have some pathology in the joints.
*** You can also do yourself a big favor by seeing a dentist who specializes in TMJ at your earliest convenience.
