There are still some exercises you can do with joint problems, and exercise actually helps certain joint problems. Having a low activity rate whereby you are not exercising due to health conditions means you need to cut down on your calorific intake considerably because you are not burning excess carbohydrates and energy by being inactive, therefore it gets stored.
Cut out ALL saturated fats / animal fats and only eat poly and monounsaturated fats. Snack on celery which helps by being negative calories! It takes more energy to digest it than the energy it contains, instead of the crisps. Drink 8 glasses of water a day (around 2 lires) and eat healthy green vegetables. If you don't consume fat and excess carbohydrates you won't get fat.

The key for losing weight is easy - eat less and workout more - the difficulties arise when we actually try to put that into operation! There are lots of stumbling blocks in the real world aren't there.?! Go to a park and walk 5 miles and try to jog 1/4 of a mile. Do the same thing for a week. After a week try to walk 5 miles and run 1/2 a mile. You will be surprised how much better you get in a short amount of time. Health Question & Answer

Years ago, my Mom tried this place called Relax-A-Tone. It worked! She lost weight and inches! They use machines to do the workout. I'm not sure if they're around still, but it's worth a try!Health Question & Answer
