I need to up my diet from 900cal to 1300 cal a day. How do I do this?!
Question: I need to up my diet from 900cal to 1300 cal a day. How do I do this.?
I currently eat in one day: 1 cereal bar (150cal), 4 plain rice crackers with marge (252cal) and a 500cal meal. So i'm eating 902 cal a day.
I've been on some diet forums (as I need to lose 2 inches from hips n waist to fit into my wedding dress in 10 weeks time), and they told me to do weightlifting, yoga, cardio and that I must eat 1300cal minimum and more on days I don't exercise!
How can I up this in a healthy, INEXPENSIVE way.? Health Question & Answer

First of all, my best suggestion is to learn to eat healthy.

That means understand the food pyramid, the food groups, the recommended servings, etc. That is how you should eat for life! If you eat that way and have 3 small, healthy meals a day and 2 small, healthy snacks, you will lose weight. Each meal should be less than 400 calories and each snack should be about 100-150 calories. Eating highly nutritious foods is the key, so think in terms of lean protein, veggies, whole-grains, fruits, low-fat dairy, and heart-healthy oils.
Good luck!Health Question & Answer
