Too much water, too many bathroom breaks?!

Question: Too much water, too many bathroom breaks.?
I'm probably going to be answering my own question here, and believe me... I am not as dumb as I am about to sound.

For the past week, I have been on a water binge, which is a good thing. I drink 65-ish oz a day, and walk about 1/2 mile a day to and from work. However, it's definitely not a work out, I'm not sweating, so I doubt I'm losing fluids.

Anyway, while I am drinking all of this water, I am running to use the restroom every 1/2 hour! My boss probably thinks I have a problem, especially since before drinking a lot of water, I would probably make only 2-3 stops to the bathroom a day.

Anyway, for those that drink a lot of water, does this happen to you too.? Is it a GOOD or BAD thing that I'm peeing constantly.?.?

Thanks! And sorry... I hope this don't sound as dumb as it did in my head... just looking for some truth here. :)Health Question & Answer

Yep. Happens to me too. It's not too much of your boss's business unless you're spending 20 minutes at a time in the bathroom either. You gotta go, you gotta go...those are the facts. And it is a good thing that you're going alot. It means that the water is flushing all of the nasty toxins out of your system.Health Question & Answer

I can see why drinking this much may be useful for a detoxification, but add the water that is in your food and you may be consuming 100 oz a day, and that may be unhealthy.

1 gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs so you are gaining approximately 7 lbs in addition to your food weight.Health Question & Answer
