Question: I'm 13 and i weigh 125 pounds. Is it ok for me to lift 70 pounds weights.?
I want to bulk up but i am worried that my shoulders and other bones will be ingrown when i grow up. Health Question & Answer

for your age you should do the classic push-ups and pull-ups, you'll be lifting your own body weight. It's gonna take awhile to bulk-up at your age because your still in puberty. You can also consume lots of calories, mainly from protein. But don't expect much until your at least 16 17...results will come if you keep working at it, but don't expect a quick fix is what I mean. Don't over do it you because you can severely injure your self. I would talk to a health professional that knows about body building, they can help you with what lb weights you should be lifting etc.Health Question & Answer

Yeah, when you're 13 your body is obviously still growing so just go for the push-ups and sit-ups, chin-ups etc.
This will get your muscles used to being worked, and then when you're a bit older it'll be easier to get massive.

yeah 70 is ok for 13 year olds just dont go crazy with anything over 100

That is to young to be lifting 70 pound. For your age just do some push-ups and use dumbbell's, 5-10 pounds should work.
