Question: Should I be exercising more.?
I just started to exercise. I'm 25 years old 5''4 and weigh 120 pounds. I would like to get in shape and tone my muscles. I do have some extra jellyness :) around my stomach, but again not that much. Currently I work out five days a week walk/jog for 30 minutes a day. I also workout on an exercise ball over the weekend for about 20-30minutes/day. I also walk to and from work (but I live really close round trip is about five minutes at the most) Am I exercising long enough.? I'm loosing motivation, and im dreading my workouts lately.Health Question & Answer

Well you are doing an awful lot of cardio, which is great if your trying to loose weight. But at 120 lbs its not fat you need to loose but muscle you'd like to gain. You need to lift weights. Start by signing up for a Pilate's class. Do some lifting. Keep doing the sit ups and the ball is a great idea. Eat a lot of protein. You're doing a great job and you have the right idea, but the reason why your not getting the results is because you're doing the wrong exercises.Health Question & Answer
do not get discouraged. i noticed you did not mention your diet. are you eating right.? if not start b/c it is the most important factor in losing that hard to lose fat. you could also see a nutritionist. and remember were there's a will there's a wayHealth Question & Answer
