Question: My heart rate goes really high during exercise.?
when I go to the gym n do cardio excercises my heart rate goes up to 160bpm. Is this too high I'm 22 n it gets me really tired easily n haven't lost weightHealth Question & Answer

You can run a mile or you can walk a mile, but you burn the same number of calories. It just takes longer if you are walking. The reason you aren't losing weight is because you are doing exercises that make you tired more quickly and it robs you of your endurance. You may want to have another look at your exercise plan and change to something that you can continue for longer periods of time. Actually walking will help you lose weight rather quickly if you do it along with a good eating habits. I don't like the word 'diet' because it is too restrictive.Health Question & Answer
No, 160 is not too high. 180 would be too high. (Mine used to get up to/over 200bpm, but that was because I had some really bad tachycardia)
But anyways, you may want to try doing some low-medium intensity cardio for a longer period instead of high intensity like you're doing now. I've heard that that's actually better for fat loss, which is apparently your goal here..Health Question & Answer

so your human afterall. i think it is normal dont worry. but you should be losing weight by the sounds of things, you need to stick at it and if it doesn't work after a month try different forms of excercise, i myself love to SEXercise it is more fun lolzzHealth Question & Answer
