Question: Can anyone recommend a good whey protein shake.? My trainer recommended I get one...but I'm not sure where.?
I have been working out, and really enjoying it...and my trainer and I(with doctors supervision) decided I shouldn't be taking my anti-anxiety medication anymore...which has been a goal. So now that I'm off that...my trainer said that whey protein shakes can have high levels of amino acids and L-Tryphtophan that can increase serotonin levels...which would be great for my diet and great for my anxiety. Does anyone have any recommendations.? My trainer works at Peak Fitness...but their line of powder shakes don't have what I need. Any ideas.? I would love to have a whey protein shake with great amino acids.

The flat out best you can buy is Biotest Grow. You can find it at t-nation.com. Its pricey but if that's what you are looking for, its the best available. If you want a decent supplement and cheap, try saveonsupplements.com and go with something there. You can also find a decent protein at cosco.
