Question: Is adding more calories a good idea.?
I am recovering from anorexia, and the past week I have been doing 1200 calories with an hour of exercise daily. However, I am at 86 ibs., 5'1, and haven't gained any weight. If I up my calories to 1300, will the pounds pack on.?Health Question & Answer

The problem is you are probably burning off more than 1200 calories a day, especially if you are exercising an hour daily, so up it to like 1800 calories if you want to gain some more weight. And exercising is good, but keep it to 3-5 times a week, not everyday.
If you really are recovering from anorexia, then stop looking at all the media crap that tells you you need to be a certain size and eat healthy! Just because someone doesn't have a flat stomach doesn't mean they are overweight or fat. I have met people that are extremely skinny and they eat junk food and fast food and all sorts of crap all the time. The point is to eat healthy and feel healthy. If the only way for you to feel healthy is to be extremely thin, then you should look into talking w/ someone about this aka a therapist. Health Question & Answer
