Question: I want to weigh 9 stone by december what should i do.?
I weigh 10 stone at the moment and i want to loose a stone in a month what should/shouldnt i be eating more/less of.?.? I work 30/40 hours a week in a bar and do 15 hours at college a week so i dont have much time to excercise i really need to do this helppp..Health Question & Answer


Answers:

Drink two tumblers of water on rising from the bed, and in a day drink at least three litres of it.

Avoid potatoes, nuts, cream, ghee, sweets, fried food, and dairy products.

Take regular exercise sufficiently, so as to burn more calories of energy, than its intake.

Eat slightly less than your requirement.

Use skimmed milk instead of full cream milk.

Use yoghurt instead of cream or curd.

The order of preference of food is (1) steamed, (2) boiled, (3) baked, (4) roasted, (5) grilled, and (6) fried.

how tall are you.? im a healthy weight for someone shorter than me but im 5ft 8 and 8 1/2 stone which makes me underwieght, check your B.M.I (body mass index) , google it to see how to do it and it will tell you if you are overweight or underweight or about right, just because your 10st doesnt mean u need to lose weight, and if you are slightly overweight, dont u think like most people you might over-indulge at xmas and put it back on, it might be best to do it at new year.

If your certian you want to do this now working in a bar is a start, your constantly moving about which is good. if you catch the bus, get off a stop early, maybe cut out fizzy drinks and swap for water. Try to only eat when your hungry and try to eat filling things , and maybe some healthy snack bars like special k or nutra grain. Its all about moderation and sticking to it. Sorry Sarah, but wat's a stone.? I am familiar with pounds and kilograms but I have no concept of a stone.
Newer the less, to lose weight you need to eat three healthy meals each week, drink plenty of fluids (not beer) and exercise 3 - 4 times a a week.

The best way to lose weight is to restrict your calories to around 1250 per day & excercise sensibly. For a long term achievable result there are no short cuts. If you find a full workout a problem then just do a few minutes a few times a day, it'll be better than nothing.Health Question & Answer
