Question: I have belly fat from something in my diet.?
I'm 4'11' and 100 pounds. I have like a "athletic" body type although I'm not. I have always been fine with my body, not chubby or anything, but I always ate terribly. I drank pop everyday and junk food, and everyone told me one day it would catch up with me. It has. I'm 13 and my stomach has rolls on it! I don't have a big butt or anything other than my stomach!! I HATE IT! What is it exactly that is making my stomach fat.? I drink Cherry Coke EVERYDAY and eat lots of pasta and cereal with sugar. How do I get rid of this.?Health Question & Answer

Well, you're 13 so you're probably going through puberty and your body will continue to change and grow, so it's a bad idea to diet.

What I would suggest is just eat healthier. Eliminate sugars like soda and the cereal with sugar. Pasta is okay in moderation, like most foods.

Make sure you're active at least 30 minutes every day. Since you're young you probably have tons of energy, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Replace your soda intake with water, and just make sure you eat often but not until you feel stuffed. Health Question & Answer

It's prolly the Coke that's doing it to ya, along with the candy.

Cut the candy back to every 2-3 days if you can.

Coke has TONS of calories in it, which is energy that can be stored in fat (in your abdomen).

Drinking more water instead is a great idea. Go with more vegetables instead, and run or play sports as often as you can.

It is your diet. You are eating a lot of "bad carbs." You need to eat more fruits, vegetables, yogurt, cheese, protein, and "good carbs" like whole wheat bread. You don't need to eat less, but you need to cut back on the junk food and eat more healthy foods.

yes its from your diet. carbs and sugar to be exact. and you need more exercise in your life.

once people drop coke out they see changes. drink diet coke if you want. don't let no one tell you its bad for you. i just typed up a long answer on this as well.

our parents buy us all this crap when we are growing up. its no wonder why there are so many obese people these days. most kids that come to america from another country, immediately gain alot of weight. because our supermarkets are filled with so much crap. and their country does not have all this junk available.

it takes time to change our dietary habits. just never give up! you have the nothing but time ahead of you.
