How much does stress really keep the weight on?!

Question: How much does stress really keep the weight on.?
I'm 5'6" and 250 lbs. Unfortunately it's mostly in my oblekes. Anyway, I'm not a whalerus (new word for ya'll), but rather very broad and thick. Most people mistake me for a body builder or marine, I'm neither. It really is quite a burden being this big at this height. Anyway the stress as of late had been due to being out a job for 4 months (interview tomorrow, cross your fingers). The weight gain was a product of 2 years of dorm life. Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I can't really answer the main question because stress effects weight in strange ways; it is not consistent across the board with every person. Some people LOSE weight when they are stressed out!

Some good news: You can be stressed out and still lose weight, even if stress normally makes you gain weight.
You're going to have to be willing to work for it though with things like starting an exercise routine and counting calories.
If you stick with it, there is a bonus: Healthy eating and exercise habits help you to deal with stress!
To get started on fat loss in general, please see my source. It's written by a bodybuilder, but much of the info is beginner info that applies to just about anyone.

Good luck on your interview!Health Question & Answer

I don't really know much about it although it's interesting. Here's something I googled.
