Question: Is protein and weight gain shakes giving me a bad stomach.?
I started going to the gym a few weeks ago, and as I want to build up, I have started taking creatine tablets, and whey protein, and weight gain shakes (that you do up yourself). I noticed that the Multipower professional whey was giving me a bit of a bad stomach, like cramps, and running to the toilet in the morning.....But the Lonsdale weight gain (protein and carb drink)....well..not only could i not handle the taste (supposed to be strawberry, but more like fish, and chemicals), I was gagging in the gym after my workout (both brands say that it should be consumed after workout, but since have been told that the lonsdale weight gain should be drunk BEFORE workout...is this so.?.?.?) trying to drink it, then i felt sick, then i had stomach cramps bad, til this morning, when i ran back and forth to the toilet 4 times!!
I'm only a size 8, and want to bulk up, and muscle up!!
All this protein weight gain stuff-there's so much to choose from, I have heard that maximuscle is the best, but again, so many different forms..
What should I use to bulk and muscle up.?.? Maybe a bit easier on the stomach.? Or will these side effects wear off.?.? All these different tablets and shakes are so confusing, especially with ppl trying to sell me steroids!which is not a way i want to go!!

it is always best to get your calories from whole foods. if you can't, use protein shakes.

i would bet the shakes you are making have carbs in it. so what if you use a whey isolate protein (no carbs) and add fruit to it instead.?

you should drink your shake AFTER your workout! although recent research is coming out that before and during is better. here's the bottomline: all this peri-workout stuff will not make or break your muscle building process. it only adds a little bit of benefit. dont stress too much over it.

again, to add muscle, eat FOOD. food can have drug like results when combined correctly! its a trip

also, buy creatine monohydrate powder! alot cheaper than the pills. and don't buy into the different FORMS of creatine blah blah blah

just good old fashioned creatine monohydrate is proven to work.

Hello, there is possibility, of course, that your body does not like something in it. We are individuals are react differently to things.
When testing, try NOT to buy very cheap from online china store or similar :-) you might get hurt.
I have tried using few supplement manufacturers, ended up with maximuscle.
