i've been going to the gym 4-5 times a week. my problems is i can't control my appetite. what should i do.?Health Question & Answer

I don't know what your exact situation is ( how much you eat, how often, when, what kind of food, what kind of exercise you do. just doing weight lifting is not going to lose weight much). I don't know if my answer will help you much. But, I can tell you my story as a person who have lost about 40 Ibs.
I used to weight 190 to 200 Ibs (I'm 5'9") my 11th and 12th yr in high. I was going to gym a few times a wk. but it didn't go down to more than 188 Ibs. but when I started college, I lost weight like crazy. I went home after about 2 to 3 months after college started and I was down to 170 to 175. I eventually got down as low as 160 to 165.
I wasn't eating any less than when I was living at home during high school. but since i was living at dorm, i hardly had food others than dorm meal. also, because my campus is far from dorm and each class was kind of far from each other (just 5 to 10 min, but they add up good), I walked about 1:30 to 2 hrs each day. and I started exercise (mainly cardio) that I enjoyed about 2 hrs two to three times a wk.it was taekwondo. but it doesn't have to be for you. just any sports that you can enjoy and you can sweat well ( no golf or something like that). also lots of studying ( i heard mental exercise can burn up pretty good calories).
i'm 35 now and my weight fluctuates b/t 170 to180. but i know if i don't exercise, and eat whatever i want, whenever i want, i can be 190 to 200 easily within 4,5months. For me no snack (especially at nite), cardio exercise, lots of walking, brain usage worked. I don't know how it can applies to your situation, but i hope it helps at least little bit.Health Question & Answer

If you are going to eat a lot, at least make everything you eat healthy. Try to find out how many calories you should eat a day and keep to it. Make a routine out of it, like, eat a certain amount of calories at 9am, 12am,5pm, and a little snack around 7pm. It will make it easier if you do it at the same time everyday. Don't go to the grocery store if you don't have to, because a lot of their unhealthy food is tempting.Health Question & Answer

EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT BUT LOW CALORIE FOOD LIKE FRUIT,CEREAL,CHICKEN,BROWN RICE,FURITS AND VEGGIES...IT WAS HARD FOR ME TOO BUT IF YOU REALLY TRY HARD AFTER A WHILE IT WILL BECOME A ROUTINE, YOU'LL GET USED TO EAT AND YOU WILL BE MELTING. also DRINK A LOT OF WATER IT FILLS YOU UP AND BURNS CALORIES....YOUR LIMIT SHOULD BE 1500cals per day. also I WOULD SUGGEST BUYING AN ELLIPTICAL MACHINE . IT'LL SAVE YOU MONEY YOU'LL GIVE MORE MONEY ONCE IT'S DEFINETLY CHEAPER THAN GOING TO THE GYM JUST PUT TOGETHER THE MONEY FOR EVERYTIME YOU'RE GOING THERE SEE IT'S NOT THAT CHEAP. OR YOU CAN FIND WORKOUT VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE AND DO THEM AT HOME THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL TOO.
