Question: IS there anyone who has lost weight by not eating.?
Everyone says you'll just gain if you stop eating, but there has to be someone that has lost weight by not eating. How long did you go and how much weight did you lose.?Health Question & Answer

I have, but I had an eating disorder, which is not very healthy.
I didn't eat, only when I was forced to. (sometimes I only ate 1 carrot for 3 days) - I remember how proud I was ;S how sick is that.

Well, yes you will lose weight by not eating. The thing is eventually you will start eating again and THAT IS WHEN you will gain weight, because your body will be so hungry and store a lot of fat, because it wont know when to get food again. (:

Okay this is totally not safe, and you would have to go like weeks before you lost any thing. Your body will just hold on to fat if you stop eating altogether. You should however, stop eating white flour and white sugar, also nix the colas and that will help you drop weight in a healthy way. Do not do the starvation thing it is dangerous and unhealthy. I didn't exactly stop eating, I only ate one small meal a day...
I lost about 10 lbs after a month or so...
But I rode about a mile or so everyday with my five year old brother as well... so that might have helped it along a bit.
I think eating one meal worked better than stopping cold turkey, because my body didn't save all my fat, it just saved the little from my one meal and worked off the rest of it.
I wouldn't suggest doing this though.

I did. over summer break I went on a crazy diet and lost about 20 lbs (I weighed 120ish). I only ate dinner and it usually consisted of chicken and veggies. This is honestly a terrible way to lose weight. I looked nastily thin and I lost my period. You should diet moderately and exercise to lose the weight. I have lost weight before by eating very little.. like one or 2 SMALL meals a day.

I have been losing weight doing the same thing as well as exercising.

yes a lot but it is very bad for you ...bye the time your 40 or something u can lose all your hair and have a heck lot of diseases. plus once you do start eating your body starts storing the fats and you become fatter by the day.Health Question & Answer
