OMG, he is just sitting there and getting fatter and fatter. What do I do?!

Question: OMG, he is just sitting there and getting fatter and fatter. What do I do.?
My boyfriend of 4 years used to be really athletic and had a nice comfy shape. He played football. He 's 5'5 and weighed 200 pounds. Now he's 260. He does not do anything, just sit there ans play on XBox Live all day. Literally. He eats like a pig! Last night I bought a large pizza and 20 wings. He ate 90% of them before I was out the shower. The night before he ate the entire snack box of cinnamon snack cakes. :( I don't know what to do. He refuses to try and lose weight and jokes about how fat he is. I don't want to lose him and when I tell him he jokes about that too! Any help.? I spend too much money on food because he eats it all, I buy healthy food, he buys snacks, and... he just eats everything and i don't want nothing bad to happen.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Put on some seat pants and a t shirt, toss him his shoes and say ' hey, fatty, let's go for a walk."

Don't buy pizza and wings. Get a gym membership and get moving. He'll figure it out on his own when you start getting in better shape and he is afraid of losing you.
Health Question & Answer

You need to comfront him about and adress your concerns for his health. Maybe once you do that he might listen. also tell him that you will work out with him and help him. It sounds like your generally concerned. Be sure to tell that if he dont change he is on the path to an early grave.Health Question & Answer

Until he sees the need to change, himself, he's not going to have the drive to change.
Your question should be "How much more of his current behavior can/should I take before I can't take anymore.?".Health Question & Answer

why should he lose any weight or bother to control his diet if you put up with it.? he is obviously happy with being who he is... if you are not, then you have to consider whether or not you want to continue in the relationship. Then you have to make your choice and tell him. Frankly, I'd simply say to him that you do not like seeing him gain weight the way he is, and that if he doesn't lose it, you will find someone who does care enough to stay fit for you.Health Question & Answer
