Yes, it's an excellent program. I lost 85 pounds five years ago on the plan. What makes it so special is the weekly meetings. You learn so much and get so much support. You've also got to be willing to weigh and measure your food and keep a food log. After the first couple of days, it's easy, but if you're not willing to do that, then don't bother with this program. All healthy diet program work *IF* you work them. Weight Watchers is not for me, but my mom lost 70 pounds on it. To this day she faithfully counts her points and has kept the weight off.
