I mean all those starving people in third world countries are sick and starving and skinny, right.? Well if your body goes into starvation mode then it has to quit it and accept the starvation after a while because those people don't gain weight. Right.?Health Question & Answer

Nope. Wrong. it doesn't accept starvation and "quit it".
well those people in third world countries don't regain it because they can not BINGE on food. because there IS NOT any food to binge on.
but here in America, we can pull into mc Donalds and binge all day if we want. THEY can't.
The more common problem of starvation type diets is the resultant weight regain. Weight is regained because there hasn't been a change in the lifestyle that led to the intial weight gain. When the starvation diet ends, the individual returns to the same old bad eating habits. The scale will indicate the weight regain, but it will not identify the composition of the added weight. When weight is regained, it is fat. When fat replaces the muscle loss that was lost during starvation, your metabolism is decreased. then you start another starvation type diet only to repeat the ugly cycle.
