Question: A good pace for weightloss.?
6lbs in 3 weeks is this a good pace.? I want to be 110 lbs I'm at 120 now. So, it will take me a month and a half if I can keep it up-- .?

It is a great pace and a very smart way to lose weight. A 2 or 3 pound weight loss each week would be terrific. The weight will stay off and you will remain healthy while losing weight.Health Question & Answer

what's in your raw diet.? it's important that you don't neglect any of the key food groups, i.e. carbs, proteins, fats...

if you do this to try to lose a few pounds really fast your body will go into a deprived state, and in a few weeks you will over compensate and essentially gain it all back plus more.

just keep in mind your calorie intake vs. energy expenditure. 3500 calories = 1lb of body mass.

in general the optimal program is to try to eat 4-5 smaller portioned healthy meals a day and do cardiovascular exercise at 60-80% of your max heartrate for 45 min, 4 days a week. :) I was a kinesiologist at one point. (to get your max heartrate, you just calculate 220 - your age), and to calculate your heartrate, check your pulse on your carotid artery (right side of neck) count how many pulses in 10 seconds, then multiply that number by 6.

i know it seems like a lot, and it will be slow i can't stress that enough but it's the only you'll lose weight efficiently and still maintain your health.

In a month and a half, you can do it for sure!

That is a great pace! Women lose a bit slower than men do, but remember: if you take it off slow, then you are more likely to keep it off indefinitely! You'll have new, great habits formed. Health Question & Answer

Everyone sheds their pounds differently. Women tend to lose weight at a slower rate than men. 2 pounds a week sounds right to me. You may want to up your exercise if you think it will help.

I would say 3 to 4 pounds a week at most. Just make sure you are not damaging your body. Play it safe
