Answers:
one bowel movement a year will be enough. With what you eat, that is as often as you will need to go.Health Question & Answer
Starving yourself is not a good way to lose weight. Depending on how old you are, 80 pounds is not a healthy weight anyway. You may be having anorexic symptoms which are causing you to have unhealthy eating habits and an unhealthy weight. Consult a nutritionist or a doctor as soon as possible, but meanwhile, consider these points.
Eat foods with lots of vitamins--a good indicator is the natural color of the food. Eat foods with lots of different natural colors, such as orange (carrots), purple (blueberries), green (spinach), etc. Eating a variety of colors is likely to give you a variety of nutrients.
Avoid eating only one type of food. Eat something with complex carbohydrates (such as whole grains), something with protein (meat, fish, eggs, milk, tofu), and a fruit or vegetable at every meal. This will provide you with the energy and nutrients that you need without clogging your body with unnecessary calories, saturated fats, etc.
Eating 3 square meals a day will help you to maintain a healthy diet because you won't be tempted to binge when you're hungry. A square meal doesn't mean eating too much, though. Eat until you are satisfied. A portion should be about the size of your fist. Eat a portion of protein, a portion of carbohydrate, and a portion of fruit/vegetables. This will give you the energy you need, prevent you from getting hungry later, and enable your body to use energy smoothly and efficiently.
The other half of the weight-loss process is exercise. Do aerobic exercise that makes your heart beat faster and your lungs work harder for at least 20 minutes 3-6 days per week. You could do this by walking, jogging, playing a sport, climbing stairs, or even playing DDR. Do not overwork yourself or try to exercise harder than you are able. You should be able to breathe normally while still working up a sweat.
These are only the basics of nutrition and healthy eating. You need to talk to a doctor about how to maintain a healthy weight. Talk to your parents, your teachers, a health advisor, anybody. A qualified nutritionist will help you get to where you want to be with your weight and your health.Health Question & Answer
