Question: I wanna gain body mass is protein gonna make me gain that or would it just make me fat..?
im a 18 yr old female, i worked out like about 3 years ago and i lost about 25 pounds now i weight 110 and i want to gain body mass and some muscles but not alot but for some reason is not possible. they have told me to eat protein bars and stuff but some poeple say that would just make me fat rather than getting mass.? is it true.? and what can i do.? If you want to gain body mass that is muscle and not fat you should workout and within 15 minutes of that workout eat a protein bar or drink a protein shake. Either of these protein products you can get at the health food store. I recommend the protein shake. My husband drank a shake within 15 minutes of working out and it helped the muscles grow. The protein builds healthy muscles, but only if you are working out. Shake recipe: place vanilla protein shake mix into blender, add fresh fruit of your choice, soy milk and ice cubes.
