Eating only chicken salads?!


Question: Eating only chicken salads.?
Ok, If for the next 4 weeks I only eat chicken salads (pretty much chicken caesar salads, just with italian dressing instead...) How much weight can I lose.?

Chicken salads is very much like the Atkins diet which is basically plenty of animal protein plus non-starchy carbohydrates and salads are non-starchy carbohydrates. Starchy carbohydrates such as bread, cereals, pasta, rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beans, peas, lentils and nuts are not permitted.

The Atkins diet has a high success rate so you will lose weight. It is difficult to predict how much weight you will lose but you will probably lose at least 10 lbs.Health Question & Answer

4 weeks is a long time to be eating the same thing. I think you will struggle to last that long. Try substituting the chicken with tuna or lean beef and try some steamed vegetables once in a while. You should also be eating some carbohydrate at least once or twice a day depending on your lifestyle. Breakfast would be a good time to eat some oats or whole grain toast. How much weight you can lose is impossible to predict as it depends on your size and daily activities but at least you are on the right track.
