Question: Am i as fat as people say.?
Along the past two years people have called me fat and many other hurtful names. I mean i'd laugh it off because they were my "so-called" friends. Right now i am in 7th grade,5'6 and 116 pounds. IN 5th grade when people called me fat i was 5'3 1/2 and 106 pounds, then in 6th i was 5'4 1/2 and 108 pounds.One guy calls me a fat cow and one of my ex bffs is a dancer and i was slouching and she said," look you have three fat rolls and i only have one" It has really bothered my self esteem and brought it down a bunch. now all i eat is a salad and 100 calorie pack at school and oatmeal or no breakfast at all then my dinner. I am aiming for 100 pounds by the end of the year. Am i really as fat as people say i am.Health Question & Answer

No you're not fat. If anything you may be underweight. Starving yourself will only create probs. Ignore them and move on with your life. It sounds like they're insecure and using you to make themselves feel better.Health Question & Answer

Talk to your parents about this. You are definitely not fat. If anything, you are underweight. A weight of about 125 to 130 pounds would be better for your height. Do not try to lose weight. Don't let other people have such an effect on you. Be proud of who you are and don't let other people determine how you feel about yourself.

You are hurting your body by not eating enough. You need at least 1500 to 1800 calories a day to stay healthy, especially with all the exercise you are getting.
