Question: When can I started to going to the gym and working out.?
I am 13 years old boy(turning 14 in 3 months)!
I weigh 88lbs and my height is 5,2 feet..

Answers:
No reason you can't start now. But just don't push yourself too hard since your bones are still growing. Do more reps with less weight as opposed to heavy weight and low reps.

also I've heard that it isn't good to do weighted squats until you're finished growing. So if you do squats, just do bodyweight or very lightweight squats and make sure you're keeping good form--I'd just stick to bodyweight though.

If I were you, I'd do a 3 day a week program. Just stick to major muscle groups. Here is an example of a good workout to just alternate back and forth between...

Workout 1
- barbell bench press 3x10 (3 sets of 10 reps with enough weight that the 10th rep should be pretty hard to complete)
*** Alternative to benchpress... do pushups with a backpack on and add weight to backpack to increase resistance.
- Squats 3 x 20 (bodyweight only)
- Chin ups 3x failure (get a chinup bar to go in your doorway. Cheap at walmart)

Workout 2
- Military press with barbell 3x10 (either sitting or standing, press barbell up over head to workout your shoulders)
- Squats 3x20
- Pullups 3 x failure (Pullups are like chinups, but with chinups, your palms are facing towards you where as pullups your palms are facing away from you)
