Best way to start a running routine.?!


Question: Best way to start a running routine..?
I have ran in the past to try to lose weight. I heard that running is the best way to lose weight so I'm starting to run again. Today I ran/walked for about 25 minutes. My question is since I'm just starting out should I do this everyday or every other day.? I would like to get to the point that I can run the whole 25 minutes without walking any of it.Health Question & Answer

The way to success is to work your way up gradually. If you push yourself too much too fast, you'll either exhaust yourself or injure yourself because your body hasn't had enough time to adapt to the new routine.
Try starting with every other day, walking most of it at first; then begin walking less and less and the days go by until you are able to run the full 25min. You don't have to run everyday, but if you wish to, start the same way you did before on the in between days. So your schedule will be:
day 1-run full 25min.
day 2-walk most or all of 25 min.
day 3-run full 25 min.
day 4- walk less of 25 min
day 5-run full 25min
etc, etc until you are running the full 25 min every single day.
