Well 10lbs is not too much weight to lose. I managed to lose 48lbs in just over 6 months. So you should be able to this in around 3/4 weeks.

Kick boxing is a great way to burn calories. But one thing you have to remember you will only lose pounds if you burn more calories than you consume. So you will need to combine kick boxing or any other exercise along with a healthy diet.

I took up running. Obviously I had to start off very slowly. But I ran at least 4 times a week. I run whenever I can. Morning, afternoon, or evening. It has become part of my routine. I think you should exercise also when you can.

When you have reached your goal. You cannot go back to your old eating habits and activity levels. Otherwise you WILL put the weight all back on again.

kick-boxing is awesome, I do it, too ... i try for at least 3 days a week and have a good, high-energy routine that only takes 20 minutes ... it is best to work out in the early evening so you burn off the food from the day but have time to relax before sleep ... (right when i get home is good b/c it keeps me out of the habit of sitting on my toosh in the evenings)

if you can do it every day, that is even better ...

increase your low-carb/lean protein intake, drink plenty of water, avoid caffeine and refined carbs, eat a very small dinner, and get a restful night's sleep ... all of these will help ...Health Question & Answer

On Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's I run for about an hour. (usually outside until it gets cold then on the treadmill.)
