Question: Am I an average 11 year old that weighs 110.?
I am an 11 year old that think im kinda over weight. I am active but sometimes i can get lazy because i could stay on the comp. for like 4 or 3 hours, and i watch T.V. most of the time. I also can't stay away from having a midnight snack. And i hate the way people stare at me cause i think they are saying something in their heads about me,but most of all my grandma always tells me that im so over weight! And she makes me feel that im the fatest person ever!( no i do not skip my meals and i dont eat cause im sad, i just hate eatting a midnight snack) Health Question & Answer

honey , don't worry. you're in puberty right now and might be going through a slightly chubbby phase, most people do-- i did. and i'm short! So it probably looked really bad on me, more than it does on you, and your grandma shouldn't be saying those things, because you are not. instead of eating a midnight snack drink water, it's healthier and yeah. don't worry if you wake up then and see and extra pound though, that's just water weight, which you'll pee out.
i'm not sure if you've gotten your period, but that makes you gain like 2 lbs because your body is retaining (keeping in) water, so if youwgain some then, don't worry also.
but in general, it's most ly a phase that everyone goes through, although you might want to try and cut out the midnight snack and drink more water in the day cuz that'll fill you up. but i am glad that you aren't going anorexic or bulemic, that's horrible stuff you don't want to get into, i know a ew people like that and a close family friend almost died from it.
best thing you can do is go to your doctor, or health/ phys ed teacher even and ask them how you can get healthier, they are sure to help!Health Question & Answer

i am 12 and about 5'2 and not even 100 pounds.
but the secret is
i play basketball and volleyball all year long.
i also snack i DO NOT eat big meals.
i have a small snack right before going to bed.
i have heard many times that snacking is healthier for you to.
and i only snack when i feel a Little hunger so

im 11 to and im 108.5
people always tell me that im SOOOOO skinny, but when i look at all the other girls at my school, theyre all so skinny and i get so jealous.
so i always have to wear a long t shirt to cover up my big but/legs (ha thats sounds stupid) and jeans so i wont look to bad.

so i feel your pain. and now's the worst time cause its just after halloween.
yeah i come home.......and there a big bucket of candy......one wouldnt hurt, right.? and it ends up being like 7.

what im gonna star doing is stop all the snack and eat less at buffets, dinner, not get the second slice of pizza, and if i get hungry, settle for gum or water.
one of my friends wants to lose wieght to, so we're thinking about walking 1 or 2 miles a day together.
so thats my advice for you.

its pretty bad for me cause im not allowed outside till 5:30, but if you cant go outside that much to, you and your friends can set up a list of excersizes like 100 sit ups, 40 push ups, ect....and if you dont do it everyday you owe the other person a dollar. hey, its motivating!Health Question & Answer
