Do I get enough exercise?!

Question: Do I get enough exercise.?
I've never had to worry about my weight, but I'm still wondering, do I get enough excercise.?

In the mornings I either ride my bike for 30 minutes in the forest or go hiking or skip rope for 15 - 20 minutes.

Then to go to school I walk for half an hour

I have phys ed in school and theres tons of stairs

Then I walk back home for 30 min

Usually me and my friend go biking after school for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and after I usually have to do alot of physical labour chores. In the summer at night at 9 or 10 i'll go over to the lake and swim for 30 min to one hour. Sometimes instead of biking we or I and my dog go hiking. Plus I'm always running around places, biking to the store and going over to peoples houses or just messing around with my friends in the bush and climbing trees and crazy kiddish stuff like that (I'm 15). I do alot of biking at night sometimes too when I'm not supposed to (10 o clock and later).

It's just alot of the people I know go to the gym and actually exercise and I am like physically active but I don't really consider it exercise, so I was wondering if I got enough or should I go to the gym (I hate working out).?Health Question & Answer

you sound like you're living a lifestyle where you don't need to go to the gym. so if you feel you have enough energy, and your body is functioning normally, and you're happy with your weight, then don't worry about it. teenagers should get 30-60 minutes of exercise a day, and you're DEFINATELY getting that much. sounds like youre doing great !
and sounds like you have a variety of activities and thats definately key .
one thing i noticed though is the few times that you mentioned getting into an activity later in the evening "10pm, or later".
you could maybe try to rest up some more too. big difference in how you feel and how your body starts to function when well rested. just keep that in mind and keep up the good work !

If you are in doubt, just run 30 mins every day. It makes a difference. When I stopped running for a few months I gained 20 pounds. Running is HUGE.Health Question & Answer
