Question: 1000 calorie diet safe or not safe .?
i be on this diet of 1000 calories for a month i get about 25 percent protein daily about 15 percent fat and the rest is carbohydrates i only lost 5 pounds some people say 1000 is enough some say it is not enough what is your honest opioion. Staying on a 1000 calorie diet can have many side effects. Even ones you cant see.

Youre doing internal damage to your body. Slower heart rate, slower process of everything. Youll probably start to lose hair or get weaker nails. You will also significantly decrease your metabolism once you get back to your normal ways of eating. The quicker you go back to regular eating the less harmed your body and metabolism would be.

I imagine you must feel very worn out each day. Its because youre not getting enough calories into your body.

Food is eaten for a reason. To provide your body with nutrients and energy. It just keeps everything in you going. You need calories to walk, to run, to sleep, to eat, to concentrate, to go to school, even to digest food!

Womens minimum recommended calorie intake is 1300 calories. And this is for bedridden people. Depending on your age height and activity level, you have different calorie requirements than others.

And anyway, these fad diets are a temporary fix. Once you get off the diet, youll gain all the weight back, have a slower metabolism than before, and itll make it even harder to lose weight.

it depends of you it you are exercising too Much it could be very dangerous because you do not have the nutrition for your body to keep up . you will fail eating 1000cal/day. It's impossible for you to sustain weight loss eating only 1000 calories. Eat at least 1600 calories, you can even eat 2000 calories a day. And exercise and you'll lose weight and keep it off.
