ok. If you want to lose weight there are only three things you should really should work on. Cardio, diet, and lifting weights. I am only 14 but i have a physical trainer. I wrestle so i know alot about having to lose weight and keeping it on for long periods of time. What i do is i eat only the essentials. No red meat(steak, hamburg) and don't eat the dark meat on a chicken. Lifting weights, well lift light weights but do alot of reps. The more reps you do, and the less weight, then the more toned you will be. but less reps and more weight will make you big and bulky. which will make you gain weight, not lose. also, don't do the soup diet, eat vegetables and fruits, also eat plenty of protein(peanut butter, nuts). It is hard for you to lose that much weight when you weigh that little. I am pretty much the same. I weigh 118 and im 5'9. Im not thin and lean, i have quit a bit of muscle, but because i got rid of my water weight and equally replaced it with muscle. You should get rid of the soup because you want to get rid of your water weight, and soup has alot of water. drink only water when you have to drink. Take care. Tell me how your doing with your weight afterword.Health Question & Answer

Well it depends if what you lose id water weight or not.? I say do a soup and salad thing for a quick fix but realize if it comes off QUICK it's most likely water weight that will come back. also drink a lot of waterHealth Question & Answer

NO... but question. WHY ARE YOU LOSING WEIGHT.? YOU ARE A PERFECT WEIGHT FOR YOUR HEIGHT. Youe peoblem is you are not eating enough protein. lay off the soup. that soup diet is a fad. Health Question & Answer

soup is a quick fix, but could be harmful..... Your losing nutrition...but as an alternative you could try cutting something out of ur diet or lowering ur portion when u eat.Health Question & Answer

1- it is not good to never eat bread-

eating whole grain breads is actually optimal for you and promotes greater repair of your muscles after intense excercise.

2- if you eat a proper diet and maintain that level then yes, however the problem is that many of these diets are "deprivation diets" and they cause you to lose as much body muscle- lean muscle as they do fat.

so when you go off the diet- you will gain the weight back and be worse off if you were not eating the proper soups to get the proper amounts of nutrient to maintain your current muscle-

so if you weren't getting what your body needed- you lost muscle, in which case you lost some ability to burn more fat (muscle burns fat becasue it costs more calories/energy to maintain muscle).

so now you might be- if you didn't eat the proper nutritious soups to give you what your body needed, in a position where you might gain more weight than you lost.

fix it now- find out good solid nutrition advice and an approach to eating you will stay on for the rest of your life-

also if you only eat meat once per week where else do you get your protien.? fish.? poultry.? eggs.?

those are the best sources for protien absorbtion-

you probably don't need a ton of it- but you do need more than the average person if you are physically active and looking to lose body fat or keep it off. Health Question & Answer
