When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).Health Question & Answer

Working out is important, but for a busy mom time is not always on our side- plus working out could really be a drag. It's a lot about eating habits, making sure you eat 3 meals a day and small snacks in between... small is key! Like a orange and a cup of tea. also walking works wonders, get the kids in a stroller and walk for 30 minutes. It works your midsection and is great for your heart. Health Question & Answer

Try to eat healthy and avoid snacks. The following website helped me a lot to lose weight:

Health Question & Answer

the good news: you've only had that weight for a year or so, therefore it will come off easily with the right plan.

the bad news: you SAY you have no time for the gym. i used to say the same thing. then i MADE time. i woke up 30 mins earlier. i started working out during my lunch hour. etc etc.

people who lose their fat with diet only almost always gain it back!

the people who lose it with diet + cardio + lifting weights keep it off. known fact.

of course, the combination of all three (the right plan i mentioned above) is wayyyy more detailed than this, but i hope i have given you something to think about.

good luck!Health Question & Answer

I have 3 kids and I'm a stay at home mom too. Finding the time is usually the biggest issue but you can fit it in with the kids too if you get creative! I've just had my last one about 6 months ago and I've lost 17 lbs already.. going for another 20 though and I know it'll be hard work. The best thing going for us is we're home so we can really regulate our diets. I eat no more than 1300 calories a day and I don't feel deprived at all. I force myself to take the kids for a walk in the morning and night, if the weather allows. That alone is great exercise. In the afternoons, if the baby naps well, I'll do a work out video. I recently got Hip Hop Abs and I love it! So really, there isn't any magic trick to it! You have to start eating better and moving more!
