Am I seriously underweight?!

Question: Am I seriously underweight.?
Basically, I've been on many sites, finding my BMI. Each time it's been 14.25. I've always been pretty slim, to my knowledge, but I always wondered if I'm dangerously underweight. I eat like hell, and if you want my opinion, it's way too much.

So I found this website, and saw this. It's pretty scary, as I know I eat loads, and I'm not anorexic, not bullemic.

Under 15: anorexic and dangerously underweight, seek medical help

15 - 17: anorexic - counselling may help

18 - 19: underweight - seek counselling if undereating

20 - 25: normal

Feel free to ask more questions for me to answer to help.

Dani, whatever you do - DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE stupid BMI calculators, everyone's bone structure is completely DIFFERENT so it's wise not to go by what they say.
And if you weigh a certain weight, it does not mean you are anorexic - anorexia nervosa is a mental disease; therefore if you eat and don't possess thoughts of an unhealthy nature to do with starving yourself...then you are by no means anorexic - this is why BMI calculators are a tool made by complete ignoramuses to get individuals to stress about their weight!

If you look at yourself in the mirror, and seem to look healthy - then why change because of what a stupid statistic says.?

Six & a half - seven stone is pretty LOW for someone who is 5"7 but then, a lot of people experience huge growth spurts where the weight just does not catch up to their height until further down the line. I wouldn't worry so long as you are eating your 3 main meals a day and such!

Just embrace your slim figure and don't let anyone's comments get you down!Health Question & Answer

BMI calculations are only accurate for adults, so the number you are calculating may not be true.
Anorexia is not diagnosed solely on being underweight. Instead, it is a psychological disorder characterized by a skewed personal body image. You are only anorexic if you see yourself as overweight and unattractive when you are not, and intentionally eat less or vomit in order to lose weight.
As long as you are eating normally and have a healthy self-image, you are not anorexic and should not be concerned. Your weight will fluctuate and eventually level out as you grow older.Health Question & Answer
