Question: A question for all you weight lifters.?
What amount of weight did you start with on the bench press.?
How much are you benching now.?
How long did it take you to get from the amount of weight you started with to the amount you do now.?
How old are you.? (If your not cumfortable asnwering then dont)

What amount of weight did you start with on the bicep curl.?
How much are you curling now.?
How long did it take you to get from the amount of weight you started with to the amount you do now.?

Answers:
I started with 95 lbs on bench and now I bench over 275 lbs. It took me about 6 years and I am currently 28 years old. For bicep curls I started with 35 lbs and now I curl over 105 lbs. It took me about the same amount of time.

If I new the same information that I know now, back when I first started lifting, I would be lifting a lot more today. I learned a lot from a book called "No-Nonsense Muscle Building" I believe I found it on this website http://www.fitnessandnutritionstore.com/

when I was in high school and on the power lifting team I started not being able to lift the bar for anything and 1 year later had a one rep max as follows:
I was in the 101 lb. weight calss and I am female at 5'1" tall

bench= 150
squat=300

I started in 12th grade...couldn't lift the bar. Within one year, I was repping two plates about 8-10 times.
