If I were you I would do a detox at the same time I was quitting. It will help get the nicotine out of your body faster and you'll lose wieght at the same time you can get an easy safe cleanse program at your health food store called " CleanseSMART" it has a 2 week beginners one to get you started. Its 2 pills per day, all natural and if you drink alot of water while doing it you should notice a big difference. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I'm afraid there really isn't a magic pill. Vitamins will help keep you healthy, but there's really nothing to keep you from gaining weight except making sure you don't eat in replacement. I quit smoking about 3 years or so ago, and I didn't gain any weight from it. What I did was replace the cigarettes with lollipops. Every time I craved a smoke, I got a lolly instead. I went through bags of them, and I made sure I was never without one. I got good ones too, the ice cream flavored ones. My husband picked up gum chewing. Do something else to satisfy the hand to mouth, something healthy. Health Question & Answer
There's no magic pill to prevent weight gain, unless you take an appetite suppressant, but these aren't healthy. Stick to a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and cut your calorie and sugar intake. Do this and you should be fine. Health Question & Answer
The main reason people gain weight when they quit smoking is because they tend to eat instead of smoke and hence... OVEREAT.
I just quit 2 months ago. I exercise as well and havnt gained anything...
