Question: This really doesn't make much sense.?

I'm not sure if this is the right section, but oh well.

I shrunk two inches. Maybe a little more than that. I was 5'8 and 3/4" last time I went to the doctors (They had me take my shoes off), and recently for the past two months when I've been measuring my height I've been barely 5'6".

I don't think it was the machine, because I actually feel shorter. Why am I shrinking.? I'm 15, and I was in the middle of a growth spurt when that happened. According to my doctor I still have a lot more growing (Height wise) to do, so...why did I shrink...

Could it be possible that it's the doctor's office that made a mistake when they measured you.? The reason I'm asking is because it's not normal for someone to be shrinking at 15 years old. I think the best thing for you to do is see your doctor again. Tell your doctor that you are worried because you now measure 5'6". And have the office measure you again.Health Question & Answer

There's probably a reasonable explanation for this: like someone measuring wrong etc

If u r healthy n normal....need not worry.
Once again cross check yr height with a standard measure.
