Are deadlifts usually performed during a back workout or leg workout?!

Question: Are deadlifts usually performed during a back workout or leg workout.?
Answers:
They are best performed as both. It is not a good idea to perform a back workout with deadlifts, and then follow it the next day with a leg workout using squats. Deadlifts work back, traps, shoulders, quads AND hamstrings, and more...

Nor is it a good idea to perform squats and deadlifts one day, and then workout your back the next.

I recommend performing a full body workout as such...

Day 1...Squats, bench press, DB rows, upright rows, seated tricep extensions

Day 2...off

Day 3...Deadlifts, overhead press, t-bar (or BB rows), curls, DB bench press

Day 4...off

...or, a slight variation...

Day 1...chest and triceps
Day 2...legs (w/squats) and abs
Day 3...rest
Day 4...shoulders and biceps
Day 5...back (w/deadlifts)
Day 6...restHealth Question & Answer

deadlefts are primarily training the back... but also hit your quads... i would say u are better off doing them on your back day..

because when u do legs you have to worry about getting through your squats and leg presses.. and that is usually alot of work...
but if u want to rotate it u can, one week with legs, the next with backHealth Question & Answer

I switch it up, one week I do deads on leg day, the next week I'll do rack pulls on back day.Health Question & Answer
