You might have a binge eating disorder, every time you want to eat, take note of how you feel. It's probably for comfort when something goes wrong & and eat to feel better.

Try to fast for a day to gain control of yourself.
Find things to do other than eat.
Then plan out a healthy diet & try to get regular exercise.Health Question & Answer

You may have an eating disorder called binge eating... It's where you eat a lot of food and may or may not dispose of it afterwards by over-exercising, throwing up, or taking laxatives. You can also call National Eating Disorders Association for more help and info by dialing 1-800-931-2237. Just remember that you're not alone- binge eating is the most common eating disorder in usa! Here are some signs:
1. You eat more than usual
2. You eat till you're uncomfortably full.
3. You eat a lot of food, even when you're not hungry.
4. You eat alone and are embarrassed to be seen eating.
5. You feel depressed, disgusted or guilty after over-eating.

If these seem familiar than speak up! You have to stop this while you can!! Good luck :-DHealth Question & Answer

it's okay to go on a diet or to even have a liquid fast. however, maintaining weight is definitely not necessarily dangerous until you can't digest. a good suggestion would be to eat oatmeal and stay away from raisin bran and fiber one, as well as products with excessive fiber.Health Question & Answer

I am a Psychology major and I think it sounds like it could be, but we really cannot diagnose that for you. Speak to your school counselor or a psychologist about it. Health Question & Answer

Eat meals at regular times and you won't be so inclined to eat junk.Health Question & Answer

Sound like it may be Binge Eating Disorder.

But There is certain criteria for diagnosing any eating disorder. Such as compulsive behaviors and body fat percentage. But there is a difference between having a few small food-issue on a very rare occasion (ex: your boyfriend breaks up with you so you down a pint of ice-cream) and having issues with food that effects your daily life (ex: everyday is a bad day, so your new best friends become Ben and Jerry)

What you really need to think about here is how these behaviors affect your qualitly of life. Do you appear to eat normally in front of friends or family and wait until you're alone to stuff yourself.? Do you feel out of control when you eat.? Do you feel like food rules your life.? Do you feel like you have to justify your food all the time (I'm celebrating, I'm really sad, I'm lonely).

Boredom eating is a habit, not a compulsion. Eating disorders are compulsive eating.

People who have eating disorders are usually very secretive. They feel guilty about their actions and thusly want to hide them. Treatment is usually not sought until after there are dramatic health problems, so if you think you have a legitimate issue with this, it is best to seek attention now.

Hope this helps! <3Health Question & Answer
