Question: Why am I eating more than I use too.?
Hello. Ive been trying to loose weight. So far, Ive lost about 30 pounds. And recently, for a few days now, Ive been eating MORE than usual and Im scared if I gain weight.?.?.? What could be going on.? (I use to starve myself:(, but I DON'T anymore!) What could be happening.?! :( . And PLEASE don't say any UN-NECESSARY or MEAN comments.

Your body is just trying to get the calories it's used to getting. Almost as if you were starving yourself.....it's like a defense mechanism. You job is to choose healthy things to eat as opposed to grabbing the first convenient thing to eat. You can eat all day if you wanted to. Sometimes it is what you it.....and other times it's not, but being about portion control. Be conscious of what goes in when you do eat. That way if you feel like your eating all the time, at least it was all healthy and not sugary or salty unhealthy things.

How long ago did you starve yourself.? If it was more recent then this will make more sense. When you deprive your body of food, sometimes your body goes into survival mode and makes you feel hungrier than usual. When I was in junior high I tried to not eat for 3 weeks, and I know it is not something I am proud of, but when I tried to eat regular again, it took me almost a month to not feel so full when I would go to eat. I felt nauseous alot to. Then after my body got back on track, I noticed I ate way more than I use to because my body is trying to make up for what it lost.Health Question & Answer

Maybe you are eating the wrong combinations of food. The carbos with the fats are killer, you will get cravings and want more because your insulin level spiked then looked for more in an hour.

This is a healthy way of eating that will help lose weight or just maintain weight depending on how many times you stray from the structure.

You can lose 10-25 pounds in one month... safely. Just follow these rules. There are also several recipe books and recipes on her web site.

I lost 92 pounds, down from 325 lbs. The first week I started eating this way I lost 8 pounds... but it was probably because I was so big to begin with.

The rules are...
Food group 1
Fats, meats, oils, cream, butter

Food group 2
Veggies (no avocado or potatoes or carrots, these turn immediately to sugar when they hit your saliva).

Food group 3
Carbohydrates, rice, pasta, potatoes, non fat milk.

Food group 4
Fruit, eat only in the morning, on an empty stomach, about an hour before breakfast, not after. Don't eat it at night.

Rule... eat anything from group 1 with anything from group 2.
Rule... eat anything from group 2 with anything from group 3.
Rule... Do NOT eat group 1 with group 3.
Rule... No soda, caffeines, whole milk, yogurt, avocados, bananas all of these have fat and carbos so when you want to lose weight don't eat them. Afterwards you can.

Picture this in your head, insulin from your pancreas is secreted, to help digest sugars, and anything digested with it will be 'stored' as fat. So if you want the pasta and bread, don't have the butter or oil or meat, instead have a marinara tomato sauce, or sauted veggies with garlic, no oil or butter with carbos... remember.
